No subject to promotional offersThe Chargeris a splitboard binding from Union. More high-end than theExplorer, the Charger has a faster ascent/descent system and is therefore aimed at a more expert audience.
Unlike the Explorer, the Charger has no pins, which makes it easy to switch from up to down mode quickly. This system saves you the trouble of handling small parts in the cold and snow. The SP3 baseplate made out of Duraflex CB isrigid and ensure an ideal grip for your foot. The Exoframe 5.0 et TS 4.0+ straps reduce compression points in the ankle and toe area, while maintaining optimal support.
The spoiler EXP3 made of Duraflex ST, which is stiffer than the Charger, gives you the perfect mix of flexibility and responsiveness. To make the way up easier, the spoiler can be positioned vertically to make lengthening your stride easier. The heel cup is directly integrated into the baseplate and can be more easily positioned to make walking on steeper slopes easier.
A fast transition from climb to descent for even more riding time, no doubt, the Charger promises you crazy sessions!

Baseplate:
SP3 Duraflex CB: This construction provides it with durability and sturdiness, for more precision in ski mode and on rough terrain.
- Bushing - EVA Thermosettable : This pad features a non-stick gas pedal that prevents snow from sticking and ice from forming on the base pad.
Quickdraw Pro 320 Probe:
- EXP3 Duraflex ST: Duraflex spoilers are reinforced for greater responsiveness while maintaining low weight. Ideal for extreme temperature conditions.
- Tail - Extruded 3D aluminium w/ Astro Washer : The robustness and rigidity of extruded aluminium stiffens the frame of the bindings. The Astro basket prevents the heel from slipping.
Straps:
- Ankle straps - Exoframe 5.0 : Very close to the boot for a tight and perfectly distributed support. Progressive Tri-Axial Flex for a perfect fit of the shoe to the binding.
- Toe strap - TS 4.0 : Simple, lightweight and durable.
Buckles:
These magnesium buckles are 4 times more durable and with half the weight of aluminium buckles.
- Ascent/descent mode - Dino FLAD: Quick transition system between the two modes.
- Charger Split Disk: Compatible with insert systems Voilé and 2x4.
No compatible with the The Channel system from Burton.
