No subject to promotional offersThe Charger Black is a splitboard binding from the brand Union. It features a quick transition system between ascent and descent modes and is aimed at an expert-level audience.
Unlike the Explorer, the Charger are pinless and equipped with a dual-locking system with a rear lever, allowing you to switch easily and quickly from ascent to descent mode. This system spares you the hassle of fiddling with small parts in the cold and snow. The EXP3 baseplate made of Duraflex CB is stiff and provides ideal support for a stable foot platform during the descent. The Exoframe 5.0 and TS 4.0 straps reduce pressure points around the ankle and toe areas while maintaining optimal hold.
The EXP3 spoiler in Duraflex ST, which is stiffer than that of the Explorer, offers the perfect blend of flexibility and responsiveness. During the ascent, the spoiler can be positioned in vertical mode to improve stride length. The heel endpiece is directly integrated into the baseplate of the binding and can be easily set to simplify your progress on the steepest slopes.
