Down bib salopettes suit - Unisex - Baffin Red - Valandré
Baffin is a down all-in-one from Valandre.
These are high altitude overalls, meaning they keep you warm even in the coldest of temperatures: the comfort limit temperature is -30°. In addition, the goose down filling guarantees excellent moisture resistance. It is designed to keep you warm and dry.
Mainly intended for high altitude expeditions, these overalls are perfectly adapted to wear with the Bering jacket. Together, they represent a powerful and versatile alternative to the one-piece solutions of the Combi.
Three separate baffles (20 in total) at the crotch allow a fantastic range of movement even above 8000 metres, without the risk of tearing the overalls at the crotch. The seat, knees and lower legs are reinforced, to enhance the Baffin's ability to withstand the abrasion ad wear-and-tear expected during expeditions. Two double zippers allow you to put on the overalls without having to remove your boots and clothes, and also allow for ventilation and therefore temperature control. These two zippers are part of the "drop seat" system that allows you to answer when nature calls without having to detach the shoulder straps.
A large external zippered chest pocket allows you to store your small equipment. When used with the Bering, this pocket is kept warm inside the jacket. Its elastic drawstring provides efficient adjustment of the waist.
The Baffin is the ideal piece of equipment for your excursions in the extreme cold.
