The A.LIGHT is a ski/snowboard backpack from ABS.

Specialists in airbags since 1985, ABS offers us here their latest generation of modular airbag bags, the A.LIGHT, designed on 4 basic principles: simplicity, safety, lightness and speed.

The A.LIGHT uses the Pyro Techtechnology, a pyrotechnic triggering system proven by ABS. The bag has a unique system with two independent airbags. This allows a lower centre of gravity in the event of an avalanche and a larger contact surface to avoid sinking under the avalanche.

For optimum comfort, the A.LIGHT has padded carrying straps and a foam back panel. It also has a crotch strap for extra security and a magnetic chest strap, easy to use with gloves

Finally, the A.LIGHT has multiple technical options, making it very practical. For immediate access to avalanche safety equipment, the bag has the Rescunit system. An orange zip at the bottom of the bag allows the entire pocket to be pulled out like a drawer for direct access to the shovel and probe. The Gridlab System makes it easy to attach your equipment. Skis, jacket, helmet can be fixed by playing with the different anchorage points. The main pocket, understated with just 10 L of storage on the basic model, can be modulated with a extension system that can add 15 or 25 L.
