The suede has been tanned in Brazil without the use of dangerous or banned chemicals, and with careful water management during the tanning process. To protect the sneakers from light rain, the suede is then coated withPFC-free water-repellent oils. The insole and outer sole of these shoes contain Amazonian rubber andrecycled, biobased EVA.
